Donae uses AI to find gift ideas and draft your card message. The more you share, the more personal the ideas, and you can add people or update their details at any time.
Tell us who they are, how you know them, what they love and anything to avoid. Add each occasion, its date and your gift budget, excluding delivery. Speak or type, whichever you prefer.
Share your usual tone, your sign-off and a short writing sample. Donae drafts each card message in your voice, written for that person and that occasion.
Three weeks before each occasion*, we email you three ideas, Our Pick, an Alternative and a Wildcard, each with a link to the retailer, plus a suggested card message.
* Reminders follow two weeks, one week and three days before. Added an occasion later? Your first ideas arrive within a week, or three days before if it is less than a week away. Less than three days to go, even on the day? We'll look within the hour (from 6am) for gifts sent by email, such as e-gift cards.
Follow the link to buy your gift from the retailer, and copy the suggested message into your card, editing it however you like. Once the gift is sorted, tell Donae to stop reminders for that occasion.
You add your friend Claire, who loves yoga and reading, with a gift budget of £40 to £70, excluding delivery. Three weeks before her birthday, this is the email Donae sends you.
