Who we are

Donae is a gift ideas service from Cooke-Yarborough Ltd (company number 17272745). Our customers buy the gifts we suggest on your site, in your checkout, at your price. We take no payment for goods and never show your page inside ours.

What DonaeBot does

Before we show a customer a product, we check that the page still exists and that the price is current.

• A few requests per product: the product page, including a final check before anyone sees it, your robots.txt and, occasionally, a listing page.
• Occasionally, your sitemap or category pages, to keep a list of product links, at no more than one request every two seconds.
• Always within your robots.txt, following only a small number of redirects.

What we keep

The products we show, or consider showing, a customer (the item, its link, your name and the price we saw), and a list of product links. We check the price again before anyone sees it.

DonaeBot always identifies itself, and never disguises its traffic:
