Donae is a gift concierge service operated by Cooke-Yarborough Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 17272745). Donae is a product of OTIA, a suite of AI-powered life management tools.
References to "we", "us", or "our" in these terms mean Cooke-Yarborough Ltd. References to "you" or "your" mean the person accessing or using Donae.
By joining the Donae waitlist or using any part of the Donae service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Donae.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of Donae after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Donae is an AI-powered gift concierge. It helps you remember the people who matter to you and proposes personalised gift ideas ahead of each occasion. Once you approve a proposal, Donae can facilitate the purchase on your behalf.
Donae is currently in pre-launch. The service described in these terms is not yet available to the public. Joining the waitlist means we will notify you when early access opens — it does not create a contract for the full service.
By submitting your email address on the Donae waitlist, you agree to receive updates about Donae, including notification when early access opens. We will not send unrelated marketing. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email we send.
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the service, does not create a paid subscription, and does not constitute a contract beyond the above.
When the service launches, you will create an account. You are responsible for:
You must not use Donae to send gifts to someone without a lawful basis for doing so, or in any way that would constitute harassment or unwanted contact toward the recipient.
Donae allows you to store information about other people — their names, relationships to you, important dates, preferences, and so on. By adding someone to your Donae account:
We do not contact, profile, or market to the people in your people graph. They are not Donae users unless they choose to be.
Donae offers an optional integration with Google Calendar and Gmail to help identify upcoming occasions and relevant context. This integration requires your explicit consent via Google's OAuth 2.0 flow.
When the service launches, Donae will charge a flat concierge fee per delivered gift, in addition to the cost of the gift itself. Pricing will be displayed clearly before any purchase is made.
Donae may earn affiliate commission on some purchases. This does not increase the price you pay. We disclose affiliate relationships in accordance with ASA guidelines.
All content, design, software, and text on Donae — including the name Donae, the OTIA brand, and any AI-generated gift proposals — is owned by or licensed to Cooke-Yarborough Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.
You retain ownership of any information you provide about yourself and the people in your life. By using Donae, you grant us a limited licence to process that information for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.
Donae is provided "as is". While we take care to produce high-quality gift proposals, we do not guarantee that any specific proposal will be appropriate for your recipient, available for purchase, or delivered within any particular timeframe. We are not liable for:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cooke-Yarborough Ltd's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Donae shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Our Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. It forms part of these terms.
You can delete your account at any time. We will delete your personal data within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use Donae in a way that could harm other users or third parties. We will give reasonable notice where possible.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from your use of Donae will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of those jurisdictions.
